My wife has an HP Probook 4530s. It has a VGA monitor port and a HDMI port. It is owned by her employer.

I own an Apple Cinema Display LED 27-inch MC007LL/A A 1316.

I want to connect my wife's laptop to the Apple display.

What do I need for an adapter?

You need an adaptor for the connector on the monitor cable to the video-in port on the computer.
